The Erskineville Public School History Project, Erko Archives was created by a Macquarie University Modern History student Chloe Haywood-Anderson as part of Macquarie’s PACE (Professional and Community Engagement) program in public history.
The aim of the project was to organise the materials collected in the Erskineville Public School Archive and create a digital resource using these materials. The final product is a digital timeline, stored in Google Drive and generated through the open source tool TimeLineJS. This time line pulls media from the Erko Archives website which is used to publish and store all the digitised archival materials:
